Abstract
This research emerges from a problem about management of human resources in education institution which has not been done yet optimally. It can be seen from many problems which are faced by education institution, they are the weakness of teacher appropriateness in teaching, the lowness of academic qualification level and the incompatible academic qualification. The management of qualified human resources in education institution is a must. The main key in developing qualified education is having qualified human resources. For that reason, an education institution has to attempt to manage and improve human resources as maximal as possible. Based on that, this research aims to describe and examine about The pattern of developing of teacher competency at LPP of Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Purwokerto. The type of this research is qualitative. The data are taken from documentation and informant who are determined purposively. The technique of collecting data is by using observation, interview and documentation study. The collecting data are organized, interpreted, and analyzed continually. Further, it is done the analysis to compile concept and abstraction the discovery of research. The research results in developing human resources as follows: 1. the developing of teacher competency at LPP of Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Purwokerto is done by using method of: a. On the Job Training. It is to supply teacher by job training during a month, to give training periodically and continually, to give a chance to teacher to have clerk and equal study to qualified schools and to give workshop about developing curriculum periodically. b. Off the Job Training. It is done by: Language course (Arabic or English), S1 and S2 program, spiritual building up through halaqoh (study Islamic knowledge) and Koran standardization. 2. The form of human resources developing through career line is done through job promotion by transparency and election model based on the achievement of work not seniority. 3. The pattern of developing of teacher competency at LPP of Al Irsyad Al Islamiyyah Purwokerto is by using collection model from CBTE (Competence Based Teacher Education) and PBTE (Performance Base Teacher Education). For further step is the human resources are given various programs for developing teacher competency. The programs of developing of teacher competency are: Workshop of developing curriculum and tools of teaching, teacher training, English or Arabic course, clerk and equal study, extension study S1/S2, halaqoh (study Islamic knowledge), and Koran certification.
