Abstract
Abstract: Differentiated learning model is an effort made by teachers to meet the learning needs of students in the class, each of whom certainly has a different background in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the differentiated learning model in Islamic religious education at SMP Negeri 1 Kaligondang Purbalingga. This study uses a descriptive qualitative field research method. Then the data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. After the data was collected, it was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman techniques. The data that had been analyzed was tested for data validity using triangulation. The results of the study, the implementation of differentiated learning has three stages, namely, the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The first stage of planning, teachers must prepare teaching materials, learning media, teaching modules, and assessments. The second stage of implementation, is carried out through preliminary, core, and closing activities. In the core activities there are three differentiated learning processes, namely content differentiation, process and product. The third stage of evaluation, is carried out in the form of assessments used, namely diagnostic, formative and summative assessments. Overall, the differentiated learning model in Islamic Religious Education learning in this school has been implemented well.
