Abstract

Arabic language is a language that still does not receive special attention, even though if it is discussed more deeply, Arabic has an important role,especially for Islamic communities as a daily practice of worship. In this modern era, there is a lot of creativity being done by educators to increase interest in learning Arabic by utilizing the available media. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the various types of media used and the steps taken by teaching staff in using these media as a form of creativity and innovation at MIN 3 Banyumas. The type of research is field research using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis was carried out by the author through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained through this research are three media used by teaching staff as creative materials in Arabic language learning, especially in mufrodat learning, namely Arabic pocket dictionaries, mufrodat boxes, and illustrated paper. Teacher creativity is carried out by paying attention to several factors, namely the achievement of learning objectives and the material to be conveyed. Some of the obstacles experienced by teaching staff in using teaching media as a form of creativity are the lack of asking students to memorize and the students' limitations in reading Arabic.
