Abstract

This research was background by the researcher's interest in policies and educational models at the Nurul Huda Langgongsari Islamic boarding school. Character education is something that is being pursued by the government, but it has not yet been realized because students are not always in the school, they go home and play with different people and as educators cannot control it 24 hours. Pesantren educational institutions are the right educational providers to educate students to have character. Because of the 24-hour education system so that all the behavior of students is monitored. That way, real character education will be realized, and more complete with various educational models and activities. So this research has a problem formulation, namely to analyze the educational model and the activities given to students at the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Langgongsari Cilongok. The research carried out by the researcher was descriptive field research (field research), namely research that aims to analyze and describe how the Education Model at the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Langgongsari Cilongok, Banyumas Regency, this research is also qualitative in nature, namely, collecting information about a variable, state or symptom. according to what it is when the research was carried out using the indifferent model. With existing concepts to be interpreted and reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The findings, researchers in the field know that the Education Model of the Nurul Huda Islamic Boarding School Langgongsari Cilongok, Banyumas Regency is a semi-modern Islamic boarding school education model. With a variety of balanced educational provision and various activities. So that the real meaning of Islamic education is created, which is a process of perfecting humans by providing human rights and protecting them so that they become human beings who are capable, intellectual and charitable. So by doing so will create a generation of Muslims who are uswatun hasanah and always devote to Allah SWT.
