Abstract

Curriculum is the soul of education, to repair and increase the education quality, the first thing that must be done is developing and fixing the curriculum accordance with the region potency and also the demand of the time. Education is able to born intelligent and skilled children while the curriculum is developed and done accordance with the student basic need. One of the relatively new schools in Banyumas district is Nature Junior High School of Al AqwiyaCilongok. This school is newly established four years, but it is already able to get the society interest in Banyumas district. It has 659 students and alumni about 176. The problem focus of this research is curriculum development management of Al Aqwiya Cilongok. Curriculum development management means, doing the curriculum development activity based on the pattern of mind management, or based on management accordance with the functions of management which is contains of planning, organizing, implementation and service. The type of this research is field research. The subject research of this research are head master, chief of curriculum department, teacher and student foundation management, education staff, parents, and also society. The data collecting technique in this research are: observation, interview and documentation. Then, researcher uses Miles and Huberman model data analysis, the process contains of data reduction, display data and take the conclusion and the last is verification. After that, it used triangulation to examine the data validity in this research. The result of this research show that NatureJunior High School Curriculum Development Management of Al Aqwiya Cilongok Banyumasas followed: the process of curriculum development management is done through the stage of planning, organizing, implementation and supervision. The curriculum 7development which is done in micro level is go through the procedure that is formulated the school goal or standard of graduate competency in every institution, determining contain, and the structure of the program, and arrangement of curriculum arrangement strategy at whole. Nature Junior high school of Al Aqwiya CilongokHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pengembangan kurikulum Sekolah Menengah Pertama Alam Al Aqwiya Cilongok in developing curriculum has been used the function of the management as well, so the goal able to be achieved. But, from this result still need repair and curriculum innovation, so that the goal will be achieved maximally. Keywords: Management, curriculum development, and curriculum development management.
