Abstract
This research started from some problems, first, how are the supervision mechanisms of the Sharia Supervisory Board toward BPRS Ikhsanul Amal Gombong dan BPRS Bumi Artha Sampang, Cilcap, and second, how are the the activities of the Sharia Supervisory Board in connection with the implementastion of their supervision function, particularly toward BPRS Ikhsanul Amal Gombong and BPRS Bumi Artha Sampang, Cialcap. This research is a field. These data was collected by interview, observation and study of literature or documents. The collected data are then analyzed The results of this research to the writing of this thesis suggest that the Supervision mechanism of the Sharia Supervisory Board is conducted through the operational analysis of the BPRS Ikhsanul Amal Gombong and BPRS Bumi Artha Sampang, Cilacap and by assessing the bank’s activiteis and products. The Sharia Supervisory Board reports the results of its supervision at least six month to the board of directors, commissioners, the Nasional Sharia Board and to Bank Indonesia.
