Abstract

The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages in the last years has gained a kind of acceptance among those who are busy teaching foreign language, and what has been left behind by Arabic language officials in the outside world, and at the same time it was decided by Indonesian Arabic language teachers since 2019 to decide the religious minister No. 183 (KMA 183), Some of them saw its validity as a curriculum for teaching Arabic in a modern way alongside the European standard. This research tried to do the analysis of the content of the Arabic language book of the Islamic High School, which was based its content on the controls of the Religious Minister No. 183 (KMA 183), and specialized in the concept of the content of the book with regard to the skill of the four languages: listening, reading, speaking, and writing only, to obtain a general perception of the face of its resemblance to the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) So that it is easier for the researcher to determine his level. The research was qualitative research used on the type of analytical description, using the documentation method in collecting data on its sources. The product of the research aimed at collecting it is the classification of the analyzed contents on the basis of the classifications of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) levels, and it gets rid of the following: The contents are below the intermediate level, so they are from the beginner level (A2), but it is a small installment, and most of them are due to the first intermediate level (B1) , the second (B2), imposed by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) that the level of language learning at the intermediate level is not less than the B1 level, nor more than the B2.
