Abstract
The obligation to get an education is contained in the Constitution article 31 paragraph 1-2 of 1945. However, in fact there are still many phenomena of children of productive age who are constrained regarding education, especially the problem of costs. The high cost of education is a problem for some or some people. With this problem, Laznas Al-Irsyad Purwokerto created assistance in the form of a Foster Parents education scholarship program to help the poor who need assistance. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research was carried out directly with related parties, namely Laznas Al-Irsyad Purwokerto as the program organizer and the target recipients of the Foster Parents education scholarship. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The purpose this research is to find out the effectiveness of distribution infaq funds through the foster parents education scholarship program at Laznas Al-Irsyad Purwokerto. Based on the results of observations and interviews, it shows that the distribution of infaq funds through the Foster Parents education scholarship program can be said to be effective. The effectiveness of the program is evidenced by the fulfillment of program effectiveness measurement indicators which include target setting, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring. The effectiveness of Laznas Al-Irsyad Purwokerto as an Islamic philanthropic institution can also be said to be effective because it has met the requirements for indicators in measuring the effectiveness of the institution, measuring the effectiveness of the institution, namely the goal attainment approach, the source approach, and the process approach.
