Abstract

Thisresearchismotivatedbythesoundofthelawthateverycitizenhastherighttoeducation; everycitizenisobligedtoattendbasiceducationand the government is obliged to finance it; the government seeks andorganizes a national education system, which increases faith and piety aswell as noble character in the context of educating the life of the nation,the state prioritizes the education budget of at least twenty percent of theState Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) as well as from theRegional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) to meet the needs ofimplementing national education. The fact on the ground is that theportion of the education budget of twenty percent of the state budget hasnot touched the entire education system in schools. SMPNegeri 2Banyumas as an educational institution under the government has not beenableto evenly distributethebudget forschooldevelopment.Therefore,educationunitsseekeducationfundsthroughvarioussources.Thisstudyuses qualitative methods by collecting data in the form of interviews,observations, and documentation to obtain valid data by reducing data.The results obtained were that Banyumas 2 Public Middle School receivedBOS funds from the central government which were obtained in threestages in one year. Fundraising from the central government is applicableand normative because there are already technical instructions for its use,namely in accordance with BOS technical guidelines. The funds aremaximized for the program of eight educational standards. Schools arealso seeking funds from the KIP program for underprivileged students. KIPfunds are channeled directly into student accounts. KIP funds are veryhelpfulforunderprivilegedstudentsinparticipatinginlearning.Inaddition,the school is also seeking APBD funds by submitting a needs proposal totheEducationOffice.Fundsforschooldevelopmentarealsoobtained fromcommunity fundsthroughcommitteesanddonations fromalumni.
