Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemahaman mengenai kesetaraaan gender di Indonesia dewasa kini masih terdapat kesenjangan. Ada yang menolak kesetraan gender sepenuhnya, ada yang menerima akan tetapi belum sepenuhnya menghapus ketidakadilan, adapula yang menerima kesetraan gender secara berlebihan tanpa menimbang. Dengan kesenjangan tersebut tentunya akan menimbulkan masalah baru. Padahal pada hakikatnya, kesetaraan gender yang telah diusung oleh R.A Kartini dimaksudkan untuk menghapus ketidakadilan dan mewujudkan kesejahteraan. Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup umat musim telah memberikan pemaham mengenai kesetraan gender dengan baik. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti akan memaparkan bentuk-bentuk kesetaraan gender dalam film R.A Kartini dan menganalisisnya dengan perspektif AL-Qur’an. Peneliti menggunakan teori kesetaraan gender Mansour Fakih, dengan cara mengetahui bentuk-bentuk ketidakadilan gender dan agendanya sebagai barometer untuk menemukan bentuk-bentuk kesetaraan gender dalam film. Selain itu, peneliti juga menggunakan teori kesetaraan gender perspektif Al-Qur’an karya Nasaruddin Umar untuk menganalisis bentuk kesetaraan gender dalam film. Dari analisis tersebut, peneliti memahami bahwa bentuk-bentuk kesetaraan gender R.A Kartini tersebut sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Qur’ani dan terdapat kesetaraan gender substansial untuk perempuan, tidak hanya slogan-slogan ataupun omong kosong yang justru menghadirkan masalah baru. Dari analisis tersebut peneliti menemukan setidaknya 3 poin kesetraan gender R.A Kartini perspektif Al-Qur’an yang mesti diperhatikan. 1) Prinsip laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama hamba, Kartini mewujudkannya dengan cara penghapusan sistem pingit, memberi pendidikan pada perempuan serta menghargai perempuan. 2) Prinsip laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama khalifah diwujudkan dengan penghapusan sistim pingit dan memberikan pendidikan bagi perempuan. 3) Prinsip laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama berpotensi meraih prestasi, diwujudkan dengan menghapus sistem pingit dan memberikan pendidikan pada perempuan. Dengan memperhatikan dari poin-poin diatas diharapkan pemahaman dan respon masyarakat mengenai kesetaraan gender dapat lebih tepat. Kata-Kata Kunci: Kesetaraan; Gender; Kartini; Perspektif; dan Al-Qur’an. ABSTRACT The understanding of gender equality in Indonesia today still has gaps. Some people reject gender equality completely, some people accept but have not completely eradicated injustice, some people accept gender equality excessively without considering. With this gap, it will certainly cause new problems. In fact, gender equality that has been promoted by R.A Kartini is intended to eliminate injustice and realize welfare. The Qur'an as a guide to the life of the people of the season has provided a good understanding of gender equality. Through this research, researchers will explain the forms of gender equality in R.A Kartini's film and analyze them with the perspective of the Qur'an. Researchers use Mansour Fakih's theory of gender equality, by knowing the forms of gender injustice and its agenda as a barometer to find forms of gender equality in films. In addition, researchers also use the theory of gender equality from the perspective of the Qur'an by Nasaruddin Umar to analyze the form of gender equality in films. From this analysis, researchers understand that R.A Kartini's forms of gender equality are in accordance with Qur'anic values and there is substantial gender equality for women, not just slogans or nonsense that actually presents new problems. From this analysis, researchers found at least 3 points of gender harmony of R.A Kartini, the perspective of the Qur'an that must be considered. 1) The principle of men and women being equal servants, Kartini realized it by abolishing the pingit system, educating women and respecting women. 2) The principle of men and women alike caliphs was realized by abolishing the pingit system and providing education for women. 3) The principle of men and women equally has the potential to achieve achievements, realized by abolishing the pingit system and providing education to women. By paying attention to the points above, it is hoped that public understanding and response regarding gender equality can be more precise.
