Abstract
As the country with the world's largest Islamic population, Indonesia has benefits greatly from its people's economy. One of them is from alms, which is an aspect of the Islamic economic system. Alms can be used to reduce poverty whenever it is managed properly. There is a necessity for professional and competent management in the process of distributing alms funds. The aim of the research is to analyze the management of the distribution of alms funds for the prosperity of the citizen of Cilacap City. The research method used is qualitative research combined with field research. Data collection techniques used observation, documentation, and interviews with the leaders and managers of Cilacap Alms Movement, as well as benefits for recipients. According to the result of this research, the Cilacap Alms Movement has four programs: social and economic programs, educational programs, health programs, and da'wah programs. In distribution management, Cilacap Alms Movement applies the management stages of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling. As well as distribution programs that play a role in the welfare of society, such as education programs and health programs. Meanwhile, social and economic programs, as well as da'wah programs have not been able to improve welfare. Keywords: Distribution Management, Alms, Community Prosperius
