Abstract

ABSTRACT Tourism is a highly developed and profitable service industry. And become one of the biggest economic supporters in the world. Of the many types of tourism concepts, one of which is a trend regarding the pattern of tourism development is the concept of halal tourism, Indonesia has a huge potential for halal tourism, this can also be supported by the Muslim population in Indonesia which is ranked the highest in the world. One of the regions in Indonesia that develops halal tourism is the Central Java area, according to BPS data in 2019 Central Java became the leading halal tourism. Banyumas Regency has the potential to become a halal tourist destination. Of the many tourist service options in Banyumas Regency, there is one tour that has a sharia swimming pool, namely The Forest Island Pandak Baturraden, which has been busy with visitors since it opened because there is a separate swimming pool for men and women. This study aims to examine the effect of halal tourism motivation and tourism facilities on visitor satisfaction at The Forest Island Pandak Baturraden. This research is a quantitative study, the population is visitors to The Forest Island Pandak Baturraden with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The sample is 100 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with criteria that had been to The Forest Island, aged 17-65 years. This research was analyzed by multiple linear regression method. The results of this study indicate that Halal Tourism Motivation has a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction, tourist facilities have a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction.
