Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on various aspects of life, especially for the economic sector such as banking and financing products. The most popular financing product is the mortgage financing product (House Ownership Credit) with the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah contract at Bank Muamalat KCU Purwokerto. The existence of financing in automatic banking has a risk, namely the existence of non-performing financing. The government's efforts to deal with this, the OJK issued a Covid-19 restructuring policy to overcome problematic financing. The purpose of this study was to determine the restructuring policy in the settlement of non-performing financing in the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah contract during the pandemic period at Bank Muamalat KCU Purwokerto. The type of research used is field research conducted with informants. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. After doing the research, it can be concluded that the Covid-19 restructuring policy at Bank Muamalat KCU Purwokerto before the pandemic and during the Covid-19 Pandemic did not change, it just empowered customers with the current category who became problematic because their business was affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic to become targets. in the implementation of this Covid-19 restructuring. This Covid-19 restructuring policy is carried out by continuing to refer to the OJK with a system of reducing initial installments without extending the repayment period. This is what causes customers to object to this policy. To overcome this, the Bank Muamalat KCU Purwokerto has its own strategy, namely by extending the repayment period of 6 months and a maximum of two restructurings. This strategy, it is hoped that it will reduce the occurrence of problematic financing during the Covid-19 pandemic. To handle financing problems during the Covid-19 Pandemic, Bank Muamalat KCU Purwokerto used three settlement methods, namely rescheduling, reconditioning, restructuring.
