Abstract
Abstrak Kemampuan pemahaman matematis merupakan kemampuan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Banyak siswa yang masih memiliki kemampuan pemahaman matematis rendah. Hal ini membuat siswa kesulitan dalam belajar matematika. Sehingga diperlukan solusi supaya siswa dapat memahami materi matematika dengan baik. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah menerapkan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran matematika tentunya sudah banyak tersedia, namun proses pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan) tidak memungkinkan penerapan media yang biasa. Melalui pemanfaatan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi peneliti melakukan pengembangan media mobile learning appyet android berupa aplikasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media mobile learning appyet android yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi trigonometri kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini yaitu research and development (R & D) dengan quasi experiment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media mobile learning appyet android valid dan layak digunakan sebagaimana hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 92,5% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”, ahli media sebesar 67,86% dengan kriteria “valid”, penilaian siswa uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 84,41% dengan kriteria ''sangat valid”, penilaian siswa uji coba lapangan sebesar 80,06% dengan kriteria “valid”, dan penilaian guru sebesar 82,5% dengan kriteria “sangat valid”. Kemudian media mobile learning appyet android dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Purwokerto dengan rata-rata skor N-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,54 lebih baik dari skor N-Gain kelas kontrol sebesar 0,32. Kata Kunci: mobile learning, appyet, pemahaman matematis Abstract The ability to understand mathematics is an important ability that must be had by students. There are many students still have poor mathematical comprehension skills. It makes the student difficult to learn mathematics. So a solution is needed that students can understand mathematics material well. One of the solution that can be done is apply learning media. Mathematics learning media are assuredly widely available, but the online learning process (online) does not allow the application of ordinary media. Through the utilization of science and technology, the researchers develop a mobile learning appyet android media as a learning applications. Te purpose of this study is to develop a mobile learning appyet android media wich valid and effective to improve student’s mathematical understanding of trigonometry material at the tenth grade. The research method which used in this thesis is research and development (R & D) with a quasi-experiment. The results of this study indicate that the mobile learning media appyet android is valid and feasible as the results of the validation of material experts are 92.5% with the criteria "very valid", media experts are 67.86% with the criteria "valid", student assessment small group trials amounting to 84.41% with the criteria "very valid", the assessment of students in field trials of 80.06% with the criteria "valid", and teacher assessment of 82.5% with the criteria "very valid". Then the mobile learning appyet android media was stated effective to improve the mathematical understanding ability of class X students of SMK Negeri 3 Purwokerto with an average N-Gain score of the experimental class of 0.54 which was better than the N-Gain score of the control class of 0.32.
