Abstract

Environmental damage is increasingly rampant in the community. The environmental crisis that occurs actually stems from fundamentalist-philosophical mistakes in the way people view of themselves, nature, and place of human in the ecosystem. Humans as leader must preserve nature according to Islamic teaching. Islam has a very clear concept of the importance of conservation, saved, and preserve the environment. Islam is a teaching that emphasizes the importance of science in order to improve the quality of human life. Humans must cling to the idea of made Islam the ultimate thrust for scientific and technological development. Islam, science and technology must be integrated in a balanced way as an effort to preserve the environment as applied in State Islamic Senior High School Cilacap. This research is a case study research with qualitative-descriptive research approach. Subjects in this study vice headmaster curriculum, teacher of Islamic Religious Education subjects, Adiwiyata faculty teacher team, extracurricular teacher of Youth Scientific Work and journalism, and students with the object of research is the integrated of Islam, science and technology to preserve the environment in State Islamic Senior High School Cilacap. Data were collected use interview, observation, documentation, and triangulation of data with method use data analysis technique through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of the research shows: 1) the integrated model of Islam, science and technology to preserve the environment in State Islamic Senior High School Cilacap that is from text to context and mutual contribute through the learn activity of Islamic Religious Education, the extracurricular activity of Scientific Work of Youth and Journalism, and Adiwiyata program 2) integrated application of Islam, science and technology to preserve the environment in State Islamic Senior High School Cilacap is application of model through learn activity of Islamic Religious Education, extracurricular activity of Scientific Work of Adolescent and Journalism, and Adiwiyata program that is integrated, 3) impact of integrated of Islam, science and technology to preserve the environment in State Islamic Senior High School Cilacap the students have awareness to preserve the environment and school looks neat and clean.
