Abstract

The value of the love of homeland becomes a very important thing. Because, in the midst of differences of tribes, nations and religions, the nation of Indonesia needs a love of homeland by all components of the nation. The value of the love of homeland is not only in the learning materials, but also we can get in the novel. As an example of the value of love for the homeland contained in the novel water circumference land circumference by Kyai Ahmad Tohari. The research aims to examine in-depth the value of the love of the homeland contained in the novel Water Circle land and its relevance to Islamic education. By looking at some of the theories that are then used to analyse every value of the love character of Homeland contained in the novel The land circumference of the water circumference and its relevance to Islamic education. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. While the kind of research is included in the Research (library research). In accordance with his research, the researcher made a novel of the Land of water circumference by Ahmad Tohari to be researched. The method of research is to collect the data used as a source of analysis of the examined text, or also called the documentation method. The documentation in this study is to collect related data that is relevant to the focus of the research. Further methods of qualitative analysis using the analysis of content (Conten analysis). The results of this research are: (1) values of love of homeland contained in the novel of the Land circle of water circumference by Ahmad Tohari which is the value of voluntary sacrifice and the value of unity and unity. (2) The relevance of Islamic educations can be found in the value of victims to Islamic educational objectives (social goals), and the basis of Islamic education (basic benefits of people and the foundation of Tauhid), the value of unity and unity on the basis of Islamic education (basic human Unity).
