Abstract

Education is a very important thing in human life, because it is oriented to provide supplies of human for getting happiness in the world and the hereafter. Islamic education provides guidance of how to be a glad people in the world and hereafter, in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Education starting from children was born. Children who are well educated, will develop according to his nature. However, many children have bad act, attitude and behavior. This is not only because of the child's mistakes, but also many factors that make a child has bad moral. One of them is due to parent’s mistakes in educating their children. Orangtuanya Manusia Book is chosen answer that requirement, because that book contained of The Concept of Islamic Education especially in child education. Based on the research context above, so the formulation of the problem about how does the concept of Islamic education on Orangtuanya Manusia written by Munif Chatib. The focus on this research is cultivating the concept of Islamic on Orangtuanya Manusia and categorizing the characterictic of Munif Chatib though. The kind of the research is library research. The research approach is content analysis approach. The subject of the research is Orangtuanya Manusia book that wrote by Munif Chatib. The method of collecting data is documentation technique. The technique of analyzing data of this research used the descriptive analytic. it was related to the theme researched to submit and classified then to explain about the data end the conclude with inductive and deductive method. The results of this research are, firstly the general concept of Islamic education, those are: the definition of Islamic education, the source of Islamic education, the goal of Islamic education, the method of Islamic education, the media of Islamic education and the evaluation of Islamic education on Orangtuanya Manusia. Secondly the specific concept of Islamic education. Then, the characteristic of Munif Chatib thought.
