Abstract
The method of appraisal of gold is a method used by gold mortar service counter staff who already have special expertise in assessing and analyzing the value of estimate or gold karatase. In the implementation of gold mortgage financing products, BSM area Cirebon using three methods of appraisal gold that has been determined by the head office of BSM as physical analysis, chemical analysis, and specific gravity nalysis. The appraisal method is used to determine the estimated value or gold karatase as well as other costs to be accumulated in the large amount of financing. The purpose of this research is to understand and find out how the analysis of the method of gold appraisal on gold pawn products BSM Area Cirebon. This research use data collection in this study using techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation. The location of the research was conducted in BSM Area Cirebon. The various theories and theories described and analyzed come to a conclusion, that analysis of the method of gold appraisal is necessary in the implementation of gold mortgage financing. With the methods of gold appraisal it can be known the value of gold karatase, and the amount of financing to be given to the customer. This methods of assessment of gold is mandatory and can’t be separated or interconnected in the execution of gold mortgage in BSM Area Cirebon. So, that with the application of the methods of appraisal of gold hence the rate of occurrence of financing risk is relatively small, its implementation based on sharia law and provisions.
