Abstract

Amil is a person or institution to manage zakat according to the authority and appointed by the government. The competence of amil zakat is the ability and competence of amil in distributing zakat from muzaki to mustahik is the main task as an amil. Amil zakat institutions that are still lacking in the ability to manage management so that management is needed that is required by professionals. LAZISMU Banyumas is an Amil Zakat Institute in Banyumas Regency where the amils are competent as evidenced by their amils having an amil competency certificate from the National Professional Certification Board (BNSP) that issued it and also LAZISMU Banyumas amils often attend trainings. The purpose of this study is to determine the implications of amil competence and work professionalism in the management of zakat, infak, and alms at LAZISMU Banyumas. This type of research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that there are implications of amil competence and professionalism in the management of zakat, infak, and alms at LAZISMU Banyumas, namely Performance Improvement, Performance Improvement, can increase professional loyalty, More and more people believe, the collection of zakat, infak, and alms from year to year increases, facilitating the submission of mustahik, service to muzaki and mustahik, minimizing not on target, there are financial statements, there are accountability reports this can increase public trust and increase the optimization of zakat, infak, and alms funds
