Abstract

Sekolah Confucius Terpadu SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto merupakan sekolah pendidikan tingkat dasar yang mewadahi kondisi budaya multikultural siswa. Pendidikan dilaksanakan dalam suatu lingkup sekolah yang terdiri dari beragam budaya, agama dan latar belakang sosial-ekonomi. Di sekolah tersebut siswa dibantu berkembang menjadi manusia yang menjunjung tinggi kesetaraan dan keadilan, menghargai keberagaman dan peduli terhadap sesama tanpa memandang latar belakang seseorang. Jenis penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah penelitian metode campuran (Mixed Method) metode gabungan: kulaitatif-kuantitatif adalah metode dengan menggunakan gabungan pada prosedur penelitian dengan lebih dominan kepada metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif sebagai pelengkap. Pendekatan ini melibatkan asumsi-asumsi filosofis, aplikasi pendekatan-pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dan campuran (mixing) kedua pendekatan tersebut dalam satu penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Operant Conditioning oleh Burrhusm Feredic Skinner untuk menganalisis datanya. Di dalam operant conditioning terdapat prinsip-prinsip utama bagaimana seseorang belajar perilaku baru atau mengubah perilaku yang sudah ada, prinsip-prinsip utama tersebut adalah shaping (pembentukan), reinforcemen (penguatan), punishment (hukuman), extinction (penghapusan), generalization (generalisasi), discrimination (pembedaan). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai multikultural yang ada di Sekolah Confucius Terpadu SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto meliputi: (a) nilai inklusif (terbuka), (b) nilai mendahulukan dialog (aktif), (c) nilai kemanusiaan (humanis), (d) nilai toleransi, (e) nilai tolong-menolong, (f) nilai keadilan (demokratis), (g) nilai persamaan dan persaudaraan, (h) nilai berbaik sangka, dan (i) nilai cinta tanah air. Kedua, penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural di SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto sudah dijalankan dengan baik sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip yang digagas oleh B. F Skinner dalam teori Behavioristik, yakni melalui pembentukan (shaping), penguatan (reinforcement), hukuman (punishment), penghapusan atau eliminasi kondisi (extinction), serta generalisasi (generalization) dan pembedaan (discrimination). Ketiga, tingkat toleransi siswa di Sekolah Confucius Terpadu SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto memenuhi syarat nilai toleransi dengan kategori tinggi. Hal tersebut diperoleh dari angket penelitian yang dilakukan kepada 15 siswa. Kata Kunci: Toleransi, Nilai-nilai Multikultural, Operant Conditioning Confucius School, SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto, is an elementary school that accommodates students multicultural cultural conditions. Education is carried out within a school which consists of various cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. In this school, students are helped to develop into human beings who uphold equality and justice, respect diversity, and care for others regardless of one's background. The type of research that the author uses is a mixed method research (Mixed Method) combined method: qualitative-quantitative is a method using a combination of research procedures, where one method is more dominant than the other method. The method that is more dominant in this research is the qualitative method and a complementary method is a quantitative method. This approach involves philosophical assumptions, the application of qualitative and quantitative approaches, and the mixing of the two approaches in one study. This study uses the theory of Operant Conditioning by Burrhusm Feredic Skinner to analyze the data. In operant conditioning, there are main principles of how a person learns new behavior or changes existing behavior, the main principles are shaping, reinforcement, punishment, extinction, and generalization.), discrimination. The results of this study indicate that the multicultural values that exist in the Integrated Confucius School of SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto include: (a) inclusive values (open), (b) values prioritizing dialogue (active), (c) human values (humanist), (d) the value of tolerance, (e) the value of mutual assistance, (f) the value of justice (democratic), (g) the value of equality and brotherhood, (h) the value of being kind, and (i) the value of love for the homeland. Second, the inculcation of multicultural values at SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto has been carried out properly in accordance with the principles initiated by B. F Skinner in Behavioristic theory, namely through shaping, strengthening, punishment, eliminating, or elimination of conditions (extinction), as well as a generalization (generalization) and differentiation (discrimination). Third, the tolerance level of students at the Integrated Confucius School at SD Mulia Bakti Purwokerto meets the requirements for the tolerance value in the high category.
