Abstract
ABSTRACT The Al-Barokah group is a guided group from UPZ Kranji Village which was formed by BAZNAS Banyumas Regency. From this Al-Barokah Group members are obliged to pay infaq and alms every month to each coordinator. And the coordinator will deposit the infaq funds to the treasurer of UPZ Kranji Village. Furthermore, the treasurer of UPZ will deposit the infaq and alms funds to BAZNAS Banyumas Regency. From the collection of infaq and alms funds in the Al-Barokah Group, UPZ Kranji Village received an award for being able to collect the number 3 largest infaq and alms funds in Banyumas Regency. Therefore, this study was intended to determine how the management of infaq and alms in the Al-Barokah Group in Kranji Village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency. The type of research conducted by the author is field research by taking the research location in Kranji Village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency and using a descriptive approach. The data collection methods used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. This study shows that the existence of community philanthropy reinforcement in the Al-Barokah Group can help in the management of infaq and sedekah. Because whit this philanthropy, Al-Barokah members become willing to pay infaq and sedekah. The processes of infaq and sedekah management in the Al-Barokah Group in Kranji Village, East Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The planning used by the UPZ Kranji Village management in the Al-Barokah group, namely making a new program called voluntary infaq. The organization carried out by the management of the UPZ of Kranji Village, namely the UPZ management is directly elected by the head of the Kranji Village and the coordinator of the Al-Barokah group is directly elected by the chairman of the UPZ of Kranji Village. Briefing is carried out by the chairman of UPZ by conducting discussions at each meeting. Control is carried out by the village head directly in the Kranji Village sub-district.
