Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze students' management processes and their implications for improving student achievement which include planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring in MTs Negeri Bangbayang, Bantarkawung Brebes. This research uses a qualitative method using descriptive analytic method. The process of collecting data uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The focus of this study is how the implications of student management in improving student achievement in MTs Negeri Bangbayang such as student planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and how to evaluate student activities to be achieved in improving student achievement, both academic and non academic. The results of this thesis are 1). Student Management Planning, which is done in the planning of students in MTs Negeri Bangbayang estimates (forcasting), formulation of objectives (objectives), policies (policy), programming (programming), steps (pocedure), scheduling (schedule), and financing (budgetting). 2). Organizational Management of Students in MTs Negeri Bangbayang conducted includes resource management activities, assignments and responsibilities. 3). Implementation of Student Management in MTs Negeri Bangbayang State includes student planning activities, acceptance of students, orientation of new students, arranging attendance and absence of students at school, and arranging grouping of students. 4). Supervision of Student Management in MTs Negeri Bangbayang includes supervision activities, sanctions and prizes.
