Abstract

Teaching speaking is the manners of how teacher can deliver the information or material towards students through teaching speaking. This is purposed to give the clear material about speaking. Furthermore, this can help students to comprehend English speaking. However, students have their characteristics that influence their learning styles. Those are commonly divided into three different styles, they are uditory, visual,and kinesthetic. Students with kinesthetic learning style prefer to learn by doing. They tend to learn from their experiences and environment. The method that is used in this research is qualitative research method. Researcher was the observer who conducted the research. In doing the research, researcher utilized three data collection techniques, they were observation, interview, and documentation. Furthermore, the techniques to analyze the data of this research include data reduction, presentation of data, and verification. This research was conducted at Thamavitya Mulniti School, which is located in Yala province, Southern Thailand. This school is the biggest Islamic Private School in Southern Thailand. The English teaching and learning activities in this school were well-settled. This research was focused on teaching speaking towards students with kinesthetic learning style. Researcher observed the classroom activities during teaching and learning speaking. The result of this research are divided into four parts included the difficulties in teaching speaking, the tools and media those were used in teaching speaking, the teaching speaking activities for students with kinesthetic learning style, and the strategies those were utilized to teach speaking for students with kinesthetic learning style.
