Abstract

The development of education requires school's ability to maintain its quality and existence. It can be achieved one of them if the students are met in quality and quantity. Therefore, recruitment strategies are needed for learners. This research aims to describe: (1) recruitment strategy of new learners in Islamic Middle School SatuAtapHidayatulMubtadi'inHidayatulMubtadi'inKalitapenPurwojati District, and recruitment strategy of new learners in Islamic Middle School SatuAtapBiroyatul Huda Bantuanten Sub Cilongok. Through these descriptions, it is known the stages of student recruitment and recruitment strategies of learners by both schools. This research is a field research with qualitative approach. This type of research uses a type of analysis description. The subject of this research is the Head of Madrasah, the Foundation Management/ Madrasah Committee, PPDB Committee. Research setting in Islamic Middle School SatuAtapHidayatulMubtadi'inKalitapenPurwojati and Islamic Middle School SatuAtapBiroyatul Huda BantuantenCilongok. Methods of data collection by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive-explorative data analysis by involving three component of analysis. Namely: Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Data is processed and presented qualitatively descriptively. The results of the study found that the recruitment strategies of new learners in Islamic Middle School SatuAtapHidayatulMubtadi'inPurwojati and Islamic Middle School SatuAtapBiroyatul Huda Cilongok through the recruitment management of new learners covering the following stages: (1) planning; (2) organizing; (3) implementation; (4) evaluation. While the strategy chosen in the recruitment process of new learners, including: (1) go home to home with cultural approaches and influence of religious leaderspublic figure; (2) go to elementary school/ The nearest MI did socialization of students' acceptance; (3) conduct activities in the community. Some of the things conveyed through the strategy, among others: show the achievements of learners, facilities more complete infrastructure, talent development activities and the importance of schooling in madrasah. In addition, free programs are offered for orphans at Islamic Middle School SatuAtapBiroyatul Huda Cilongok and a free uniform program Islamic Middle School SatuAtapHidayatulMubtadi'inPurwojati. The strategy is very effective in the recruitment of new learners is evident with the results of acceptance of new learners are relatively stable even there is an increase from year to year.
