Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the main issues in Islamic educational institutions are fundamental management problem learners. The main objective is to regulate the management of learner activities of students to these activities support the learning process so that it can run smoothly, orderly and organized, and can contribute to the achievement of the goals set. While the management functions of learners is a form of management "Products" to be output ready for Islamic educational institutions, and as a vehicle for students to develop themselves as optimally as possible, both in terms of individual, social communities, aspirations, personal needs or even to development potential of other learners. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of management talent and interests of students and to determine the factors that influence the development of talents and interests of students in MI Maarif NU 1 Pageraji and MI Darul Hikmah in the school year 2013/2014. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed using data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The research findings indicate that the development of management talent and interests of students in MI Maarif NU 1 Pageraji and MI Darul Hikmah conducted through four processes, namely (1) the program in the early planning stages of the school year and to identify the talents of the students; (2) the stage of organizing through the identification of objectives, selection, and organize them using a questionnaire; (3) the stage of implementation through extracurricular activities and intra; (4) evaluation through direct observation. Factors affecting the development of management talents and interests of students MI Maarif NU 1 Pageraji and MI Darul Hikmah, namely: factors internal support, ie builder and responsible, as well as a competent coach, their togetherness of all elements involved, motivated teachers in implementation of activities, as well as the programmed activities in RAPBM. External support factors, namely the input of students in large quantities, support from parents both materially and motivation. Internal inhibiting factor, namely the lack of established guidelines extracurricular activities, equipment or facilities are not adequate, the execution time that is less than the maximum activity, and lack of discipline students in participating in activities. Factors external resistor, which is a lot of time off so that the student movement of dance much forgotten, for the activities of painting, obstacle when the coach is not present, the obstacles encountered in the activities hadroh ie if the tool used to practice damage.
