Abstract

CIMB Niaga sharia is a sharia business unit of PT. CIMB Niaga Tbk. In 2017-2021, CIMB Niaga sharia recorded a significant year-on-year profit increase compared to other sharia business units whose profits fluctuated. An increase in profits in a company can show that the company hassucceeded in managing the company's performance effectively and efficiently. This research is a quantitave research. This study empirically examines the effect of third-party funds and profit-sharing financing on increasing profits. This analysis uses the independent variables, namely third party funds and profit sharing and net income as the dependent variable. Data obtained from the consolidated financial statements of PT. CIMB Niaga in which there is a CIMB Niaga Syariah financial report. The financial statements used are quarterly financial reports from 2017-2021. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research is that partially the third party fund variable has no significant effect on profits. Also profit sharing financing has a negative and has no significant effect on profits. Simultaneously, both independent variables have an effect on profit. The contribution of third party funds an profit sharing financing is 58,26% an the rest contributed by other variables which not include in this research.
